"...seeking a Full-Time Accounting Specialist to help in the general accounting area. Responsibilities include preparation of journal entries, general ledger analysis, bank reconciliations, monitoring of daily bank transactions, cash and credit card receipts reconciliations, balance sheet accounts reconciliations, including A/P and A/R, prepaid and accrued expenses, assist with monthly financial and operating reports, budgets, and other projects as needed. Requires Associate Degree or higher, preferably with the concentration in Accounting, at least 1-2 years of experience in general accounting, proficiency in Excel. This position reports to Accounting Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associates degree or higher
1-2 years minimum accounting experience
Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
Account balancing and reconciling skills.
Strong computer skills, intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently, identify issues, and manage multiple tasks
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of standard accounting principles, methods, and applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
