Epic Principal Trainer - Ambulatory

CTG is seeking an EpicPrincipal Trainer for an Ambulatory optimization project in the Long Island, NY area. The Trainer will be responsiblefor supporting and providing guidance and best practices to office staff,clinicians, and providers. Travel between sites will berequired. Local candidates preferred,but will consider east coast travelers.
Responsibilities include, butare not limited to:
Strategize, design,and deliver education through effective processes to ensure comprehension ofcurriculum.
Use up to dateknowledge and skills associated with the content being delivered, and act as asubject matter expert in the technical/functional area of the content.
Design/revisetraining materials and create activities to support the curriculum.
Determine audienceneeds and adapt program delivery accordingly.
Assist in supportof curriculum development including: the development of training materials suchas tip sheets, user guides, e-Learning modules and other job aides.
Epic PrincipalTraining certification in Ambulatory required
Demonstratedexperience training Epic applications in classrooms and at-the-elbow required
Epic Ambulatory optimizationexperience required
Prior experiencestrategizing, developing and delivering training courses (and at the elbow) required
Clinicalexperience preferred
Excellent verbaland written communication skills; must be organized and have the ability toanalyze and be a creative problem solver
Good interpersonalskills and the ability to work as a team
Must be able todemonstrate the understanding of project management tools, methodologies andtechniques
Ability tomulti-task is essential, as is the ability to function in stressful and emergencysituations
Strong detailorientation and time management skills are required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
